Terms
These terms apply to the ordering and use of products and services delivered by Kredittdata AS via the website and associated order forms.
By submitting an order or enquiry the customer confirms that the information provided is correct and that the customer has read and accepted these terms.
1. About the services
Kredittdata AS offers credit-related products and services for businesses in Norway, including, among others:
- credit report for tenders
- credit badge for your website
- notifications about payment remarks
- credit checks of other companies
The services are directed at businesses and commercial enterprises.
2. Ordering
When the customer submits an order or enquiry via the website, Kredittdata receives information about the selected product, the selected company and contact details.
A submitted order is regarded as an order request. An agreement is deemed concluded once Kredittdata has received the order and begun processing or confirmed the delivery.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
- the contact information is correct
- the selected company is correct
- the information provided is complete and up to date
3. Product types
3.1 Static credit report
A static credit report is a one-time delivery produced as documentation at the time of ordering.
The report is a snapshot and is not automatically updated after delivery.
3.2 Live credit report
A live credit report is delivered as an ongoing subscription. When ordered online, the subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the next payment period. If a separate agreement with a fixed commitment period has been entered into, the period and notice period set out in that agreement apply.
Within the validity period, the customer may download updated versions in accordance with the product description at the time of ordering.
3.3 Credit badge for your website
The credit badge is delivered as an ongoing subscription. When ordered online, the subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the next payment period. If a separate agreement with a fixed commitment period has been entered into, the period and notice period set out in that agreement apply.
The customer is granted the right to use the solution in accordance with the purpose of the product and for the period specified at the time of ordering.
3.4 Credit monitoring and credit checks
Credit monitoring and credit checks of other companies are delivered by further agreement, and may be subject to follow-up from Kredittdata before final delivery or activation.
Monitoring is priced per monitored company. Each new company added to the monitoring is invoiced.
The customer understands that a credit assessment of another company may, under applicable regulations, entail that the assessed company receives notification (a copy) of the assessment.
4. Prices
All prices stated on the website are given in Norwegian kroner. VAT is added unless otherwise expressly stated.
The customer sees the applicable price in the order flow before the order is submitted.
Kredittdata reserves the right to change prices going forward. A one-time purchase is price-locked once the order is confirmed. For an ongoing subscription, the price may be adjusted upon renewal for a new period, with reasonable advance notice before the new period begins.
5. Delivery
Kredittdata strives for prompt delivery of ordered products.
For products delivered manually or semi-manually, the normal delivery time is the one stated in the order flow or in the order confirmation. The stated delivery time is indicative, unless otherwise agreed.
Delays may occur if:
- third-party data is not available
- manual verification is required
- the customer has provided incorrect or incomplete information
6. Data basis and reservations
Kredittdata bases its products and assessments on available information from public registers, third-party providers and other relevant data sources.
Kredittdata cannot guarantee that all information is at all times complete, error-free, up to date or suitable for any specific purpose.
The customer is solely responsible for how the information is used in its own assessments, decisions, offers, tenders or agreements.
7. Use of the products
The products may only be used for lawful and legitimate business purposes.
The customer may not:
- resell products or access without a written agreement
- use the services in a manner that violates the law or the rights of third parties
- present Kredittdata's assessments as guarantees of future ability to pay or economic development
8. Right of withdrawal
The services are directed at businesses. The Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act does not normally apply to purchases made by enterprises.
9. Payment
Payment is made according to the model stated at the time of ordering or agreed with the customer.
For invoicing, the stated payment deadline applies. In the event of late payment, default interest and any reminder or debt-collection costs may accrue in accordance with applicable rules.
10. Limitation of liability
Kredittdata is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, lost profit, lost business opportunities or loss arising as a result of the customer's use of the information.
Kredittdata's total liability is in all cases limited to the amount the customer has paid for the relevant service, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
11. Privacy
The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with Kredittdata's privacy policy.
By submitting forms on the website, the customer consents to Kredittdata using the information to:
- process the order or enquiry
- contact the customer about the delivery
- follow up relevant interest related to the services
